Most likely! The great thing about the holistic approach is that you are treated as a person and not your condition(s). If you have any questions or concerns please schedule a free consultation with me. My goal is to leave you knowing whether my service will be a good fit for you.
How should I prepare before my first session?
You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire and daily food log, prior to your scheduled initial session. Return the info at least 48 hours before your appointment so I can review it. This will allow me to focus on you throughout your entire session. Labs are not required, however please provide your most recent labs if you have them available.
Will herbs and natural supplements or foods interfere with my current medications?
YES, they can! Natural, does not mean universally safe. It is very important to consult your medical provider or health coach before adding any supplements, herbs, or homeopathics to your health program. Derecha will ensure that anything she recommends will not interfere with your current medication regimen.

Health coaches are a great added resource or alternative to traditional medicine, as they are able to help individuals figure out what their personal health and wellness issues are from a holistic standpoint. Many doctor's have limited time to spend with patients and usually utilize the time they have for ordering tests and simply prescribing medication. It's also very common that a physician will focus on one problem at a time. Most individuals know what they should be doing to prevent disease and improve their health. However, there is often confusion about all the conflicting information available in addition to all the competing diet programs.
A health coach can support you by considering information relevant to your situation. Tools are used to produce real and lasting results related to your health and well-being. Lastly, a health coach can effectively accomplish any service via telephone, email, video, or in-person as geographical limits are not a factor.
