    As a health enthusiast, I have always been passionate and empathetic about nutrition, mental/physical health, and wellness. I believe that every part of our being is interconnected-mind, body, soul, and emotions. I have a strong desire to work with the families, couples, and individuals by providing education to improve life's challenges. My roles as a nurse and in education have equipped me with extensive knowledge regarding holistic nutrition, health and life coaching, and illness prevention. I treat the whole body as one unit.

     

    I simply want to share with you what I have learned about living a healthy lifestyle. My primary focus is on lifestyle changes that will produce real and lasting results. From athletes looking to enhance performance to individuals or couples with life coaching needs and/or health concerns, my goal is to give your body the proper building blocks to improve your energy, balance, health, and happiness.

    Hello, I am Paul Cannon. I specialize in working with individuals on a range of personal, relational, and professional issues. As your coach I want to help you uncover information about yourself that you never knew existed or never felt comfortable sharing with others.

     

    During our interactions, we will take a look at your current concerns, discover your limitations, identify any obstacles you are facing, and build a plan of action to help you achieve your goals.

     

    As my client, you will gain the opportunity to discover what it is you want to change in your life and how to go about doing so in ways that work for you.

     

    I am not here to diagnose or offer a "cure all" answer to your issue, but want to give you some useful tools to better enhance your personal goals to help you build a life with purpose. I have always been eager to help others feel more confident in who they are and to unlock their true potential both individually or in your relationship.

    Do you see people with my specific concerns?

    Most likely! The great thing about the holistic approach is that you are treated as a person and not your condition(s). If you have any questions or concerns please schedule a free consultation with me. My goal is to leave you knowing whether my service will be a good fit for you.

    How should I prepare before my first session?

    You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire and daily food log, prior to your scheduled initial session. Return the info at least 48 hours before your appointment so I can review it. This will allow me to focus on you throughout your entire session. Labs are not required, however please provide your most recent labs if you have them available.

    Will herbs and natural supplements or foods interfere with my current medications?

    YES, they can! Natural, does not mean universally safe. It is very important to consult your medical provider or health coach before adding any supplements, herbs, or homeopathics to your health program. Derecha will ensure that anything she recommends will not interfere with your current medication regimen.

    How can a health coach help you?

    Health coaches are a great added resource or alternative to traditional medicine, as they are able to help individuals figure out what their personal health and wellness issues are from a holistic standpoint. Many doctor's have limited time to spend with patients and usually utilize the time they have for ordering tests and simply prescribing medication. It's also very common that a physician will focus on one problem at a time. Most individuals know what they should be doing to prevent disease and improve their health. However, there is often confusion about all the conflicting information available in addition to all the competing diet programs.

     

    A health coach can support you by considering information relevant to your situation. Tools are used to produce real and lasting results related to your health and well-being. Lastly, a health coach can effectively accomplish any service via telephone, email, video, or in-person as geographical limits are not a factor.
